There was a stir due to the discovery of glass pieces on the Kanwar Yatra route, the truth came out in the investigation

The news of glass pieces being found on the route of Kanwar Yatra in Shahdara area of Delhi has worried religious devotees and the administration. Delhi government minister Kapil Mishra claimed on social media that some miscreants deliberately scattered glass on the way of Kanwariyas, which could endanger their safety. He said that the Chief Minister himself has taken cognizance of the matter and an FIR has been registered by the PWD.

On the complaint of the Junior Engineer of PWD, a case was registered at Seemapuri police station, in which action was taken under section 125 and 299 of BNS. However, when the police scanned the CCTV footage of the area, a different picture emerged. The police have identified the e-rickshaw driver, and he has been detained for questioning.

Devotees also said that the arrangements were satisfactory, and the cleaning workers kept cleaning the route throughout the night. This incident started with a rumour and after investigation it was proved to be an accident, which makes it clear that factual investigation is very important in any sensitive matter.
