MPs, officials and citizens of Indian origin participated in this special program organized in the House of Commons of the British Parliament. As soon as Dhirendra Shastri started reciting Hanuman Chalisa, the entire atmosphere was filled with devotion and reverence. For the first time, the praise of Lord Ram’s devotee Hanuman echoed in the corridors of Parliament, which was repeated in one voice by all the people present there.
Message of respect and Sanatan Dharma
In this program, Dhirendra Shastri was also honored for the work being done for humanity, service and world peace. In his address, he said, “Sanatan Dharma is not just worship, but an ideology of humanity. A Sanatani considers the whole world as his family.” He also invited Londoners and Indians to visit Bageshwar Dham.
Inspired by Gita, Pakistani-origin man embraces Sanatan
A special moment came during the program when Pakistani-origin Mohammad Arif said that he has embraced Hinduism after reading the Bhagavad Gita. He asked if one can become a Hindu without changing the name? To this, Dhirendra Shastri replied, “Hinduism is not a name, but an ideology. If your thoughts have changed, then you have become a Sanatani”.
Expansion of service: Cancer hospital in Bageshwar Dham
Dhirendra Shastri also announced that specialist doctors from all over the world will be invited to the cancer hospital being built in Bageshwar Dham, so that the poor can get better treatment. He said that the services of those who are working for humanity will be taken in Bageshwar Dham.
Wishing for world peace through havan
During his stay in London, Baba Bageshwar is performing havan-puja daily so that peace and goodwill prevails in the world. He said, “We are far from India, but very close in heart. If London is the karmabhoomi, then the love between India and Britain should remain”.
This event not only symbolises the global acceptance of Indian spirituality, but also shows that Sanatan Dharma is now capable of spreading the message of humanity beyond borders.
