According to the information received, Delhi resident Anshul Sharma was coming on foot from Haridwar on June 25 with his other companions, carrying a Kanwar of 101 liters of Ganga water and his sister Muskan was carrying a Kanwar of 31 liters of Ganga water. During this time, she reached Purkaji town of Muzaffarnagar. Then here a youth named Usman spat on their Kanwar.
To calm down the matter, SP City Satyanarayan Prajapati himself spoke to the Kanwariyas through a video call. Usman, who was locked behind bars, also apologized with folded hands. Only after this entire incident, the Shiv bhakt Kanwariyas were satisfied and resumed their journey.
