A misleading video is going viral on social media about Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, claiming his death. In the video, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan are seen in white clothes, which is being said to be Salman’s condolence meeting. But when this video was fact checked, the truth turned out to be something else.
Truth of viral video
Instagram user event_mahwa shared a video on July 17 and wrote, “Salman Khan has died.” Many film personalities are seen in white clothes in the video. But this video is actually from June 22, 2025, which was shared from an account named Instant Bollywood. It was clearly stated in that post that this video is from the condolence meeting of Karisma Kapoor’s ex-husband Sanjay Kapoor.

When Salman Khan’s official Instagram account was checked, it was found that he had posted a video a day earlier. It is clear from this that Salman Khan is completely healthy and active.
Such rumours have spread before
This is not the first time that fake news about Salman Khan’s death has gone viral. Earlier also, videos of Ganpati immersion or other programs were shared in the wrong context in his name.
